(btw I noticed that the actual series of anime actually consists the scene with the coffee spilling on the floor. and he gets mad, he feels afraid of being abandoned again. eventually its clear that he wants to be with her, because she lets him to feel not alone… But she pushes him away. There is a scene where they fight and Asuka tells him not get close to her (ok that is understandable from her thoughts and the way she lives – she doesn’t want anyone close to her.), but Shinji accuses her of being distend and that she doesn’t allow him to know her. Then also there are scenes with Asuka and Misato. First is his childhood and that he was alone, while other kids went home with their mothers. That brings all sorts of images to Shinji’s head. And then Rei comes in really strange (and naked) form that start to take over the world. So eventually he and his eva is used to put a third impact on Earth and unify all humanity (nothing unites better than death). Shinhi becomes a bit nuts after he sees what other evas done to Asuka (well she lost in the end and was more or less eaten). Though there are shown lots of images of her “having fun” with other guy. Misato gets hurt and then killed, but still rewords Shinji with the “kiss of adult” (and promises the rest when he comes back.).

She is somehow connected with Shinji.īut this movie is more concerned about Shinji and his emotional feelings (that are more sexual this time) towards Asuka and Misato. Rei on the other hand starts to be more scary and mysterious. While that happens Shinji is hiding as kid and Asuka wakes up and starts to kick everybody’s asses. Nerv is under attack and blood spreads everywhere. The beginning of this movie (the ep 24.) is the same as was shown in rebirth part of previous movie.
